A Morning Walk Through The CSA Garden (Photos)

I wonder, some days, why I garden. The CSA we partner with isn’t exactly in our backyard, and lately, the harvests have been a little lean. We’re learning as we go, and I guess it’s all part of the territory, and like anything, when you put your blood, sweat and tears into something, you want it to provide some positive reinforcement from time to time.

This morning, I ventured down to the CSA garden around 7:30 with my camera, and as luck would have it, the reasons we garden were displayed before me. Flowers buzzed. Fruit blossomed. The weeds, despite their scowls, did not ruin the mood. And a few of them ended uprooted.

Here are the best of the photos I took, starting with our healthy basil plant, to an amazing sunflower who lives with a million-dollar view.
